You will be part of the team under the Technology Integration Division in LTA.  This dynamic team will perform horizon scanning on the technology landscape for land transport. This is to systematically pick up emerging technology trends, and identify and monitor potential disruptive technologies that may impact the current land transport system.  To support their work, the team will maintain and incorporate best practices and new techniques/tools to ensure effectiveness of the technology scanning and assessment process.  The team will also be responsible to identify and maintain extensive and credible sources of information to support horizon scanning and “data triangulation” for technology assessment.  

It is also essential that the team identifies and be part of the local and overseas forums, or partnerships with research institutes, that will support this work.   Besides identifying emerging technology trends, the team will provide technology assessments as inputs to potential solutions incorporating new technologies to address LTA’s operational challenges.  As an important part of technology scanning/assessment process, the team will produce regular reports and organise seminars/workshops to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering
• Strong writing, analytical, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills 
• Team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
• Have a passion in identifying innovative technological solutions to overcome urban land transport system challenges
• Experience in research processes will be an advantage
