Age Relaxation
Upper
age limit for the Un Reserved (UR) post is 25 years; post
reserved for OBClTransgender the upper age limit
is 28 years; post reserved for SC, the upper age limit is 30 years as 'on
01.08.2017. For all the above
posts, the upper age limit
for Differently abled candidates is 35 years for Un Reserved (UR), 38 years for
OBC/Transgender, 40 years for
SC and ST. Minimum age for all the above posts is 18 years. No
age relaxation is given for
OBC, SC/ST applying for Un Reserved (UR) posts. Age
relaxation for Departmental Candidates and Ex-Servicemen is applicable
as per rules.

Examination Fee
The candidates have
to pay fixed fee of Rs. 200/- through Demand Draft issued by any Nationalised
Bank drawn in favour of the "Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, St. Thomas
Mount" & payable
at Chennai, which should be enclosed with the Detailed Application Form(DAF). The candidates
belonging to SC/STlDifferently abled and Transgender (Should submit the required certificates
from District Medical Bo')-rdand a copy of the same. to be enclosed and forward
along with the online printed application
form) are exempted from payment of fee.

Hall Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in 'Cantonment Board
Website www.cbstm.org.in for downloading the same by the candidates. No Hall
tickets will be sent by post. A SMS regarding the same will be sent only
to the eligible applicants' mobile number registered in the online
application. The applicants must comply with each and every instruction
given in the Hall Ticket.
